Wall Racing has completed its driver line-up for the 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour with the addition of Lamborghini factory driver Marco Mapelli, who will join Adrian Deitz, Grant Denyer and Tony D’Alberto at Mount Panorama this February.

The Italian brings further GT3 experience to the Wall Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 as the team switches focus to the Bronze class after back-to-back Silver Cup victories in 2024 and 2025.

Balanced line-up for Bronze class challenge

Mapelli joins a familiar core for Wall Racing. Car owner Adrian Deitz continues his long-standing partnership with the Sydney-based squad, alongside experienced GT and Supercars race winner Tony D’Alberto and regular Bathurst entrant Grant Denyer. Together, the quartet will contest the Bronze class.

“I’m very grateful to Adrian and Wall Racing for the trust to bring me back to the Mountain,” Mapelli said.
“I’m happy to be part of the team and I’ll do my best to support them with my experience with the car.”

Previous Bathurst experience

The 2026 event will be Mapelli’s fourth Bathurst 12 Hour start. He finished second outright on his debut in 2015 with Phoenix Racing before later appearances with Jamec Pem Racing and FFF Racing. This will be his first Bathurst outing with Wall Racing.

“Australia and Bathurst in particular brings me back wonderful memories and I’m sure we’ll fight again together for the trophy”, Mapelli added

Wall Racing targets another class result

Wall Racing will make its seventh Bathurst 12 Hour start with Deitz, a partnership that has already delivered multiple class wins and a best outright finish of fifth in 2022.

“We’re excited to have Marco join the team,” Wall Racing’s David Wall said. “His experience in the Lamborghini Huracán platform is going to be very beneficial as we continue to learn and develop the car for competition here in Australia.

“He knows the car, he knows Bathurst and he’s going to be a great addition to work with Adrian, Tony and Grant throughout the event.

“It’s a big weekend and the class we’re in this year is hugely competitive but we feel like all the pieces are in place for a really strong weekend, but just as importantly an enjoyable one for the crew and drivers.

“Marco will fit right into our environment and we’re looking forward to working with him.”

The 2026 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour takes place from 13-15 February at Mount Panorama.
