The Asian Le Mans Series was the only championship in action this weekend, staging a double-header at Dubai Autodrome with two four-hour races run on Friday and Saturday. With a full multi-class field and championship points on offer in both races, the Dubai round played a key role in shaping the title picture as the series heads towards its finale.

Asian Le Mans Series – Dubai 4 Hours: Double victory for CrowdStrike Racing by APR in Dubai

Race 1

The opening four-hour race of the Dubai weekend was heavily influenced by multiple Safety Car periods, setting up a short green-flag run to the finish. In the final stint, Louis Deletraz moved through the field on fresher tyres to take the lead and secure overall victory for #4 CrowdStrike Racing by APR Oreca 07 LMP2, shared with George Kurtz and Malthe Jakobsen.

LMP3

#13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier JS P325 took the LMP3 victory after a last-lap incident between the leading cars. Henry Cubides crossed the line first after contact ahead, winning alongside Alex Bukhantsov and Chun Ting Chou.

GT

#74 Kessel Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 claimed the GT win with Dennis Marschall, Dustin Scott Blattner and Chris Lulham. Marschall passed for the lead at the final restart, while post-race penalties reshuffled the podium behind.

Race 2

CrowdStrike Racing by APR secured a second consecutive overall victory in Dubai, with Louis Deletraz again taking the chequered flag in the #4 Oreca 07. Deletraz moved into the lead during the final stint and finished just over a second clear, completing the win with George Kurtz and Malthe Jakobsen.

A post-race technical penalty for a rival promoted Algarve Pro Racing to a full podium sweep behind the winning car.

LMP3

#71 23Events Racing Ligier JS P325 won LMP3 after a late restart issue briefly dropped the car out of the lead. Matus Ryba recovered to retake first place on the penultimate lap, joining Terrence Woodward and Ibrahim Badawy on the top step.

GT

#69 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 took the GT victory with Dan Harper holding off Laurin Heinrich to the finish. Harper shared the win with Tony McIntosh and Parker Thompson, marking a strong recovery after the team’s Race 1 retirement.
