Scott Taylor Motorsport dominated the combined Qualifying 1–2 sessions at the Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour, with Cameron Waters delivering a stunning 2:01.563 lap time in the #222 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo to secure provisional pole advantage heading into Superpole.

Waters edged out the Pro-Am benchmark set by #44 Geyer Valmont Racing’s Scott Andrews by just 0.108 seconds in a tightly contested session at Mount Panorama.

Broc Feeney Shines for HRT Ford Mustang GT3

Broc Feeney once again proved why he is a Superpole regular, placing the #64 HRT Ford Mustang GT3 in third position overall. The Ford newcomer continued to show strong pace against established GT3 machinery.

The Corvettes showed solid pace in Qualifying 1, finishing eighth and ninth in their session. However, once the combined results were finalized, both entries found themselves down in 25th and 26th on the overall grid.

Ojeda and Melbourne Performance Centre Complete Top Five

Jayden Ojeda impressed in the #6 Tigani Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, securing a spot inside the top five.

The #55 Team Melbourne Performance Centre Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II of Max Hesse, which had previously set the benchmark during practice sessions, completed the top five in another competitive GT3 qualifying session at Bathurst.

Team WRT Mixed Fortunes Amid Red Flag Drama

Raffaele Marciello placed the #46 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 Evo in sixth position, keeping the Belgian squad firmly in contention.

However, the sister car #32 Team WRT BMW missed out on Superpole after Kelvin van der Linde struggled to find rhythm following a red flag interruption. The session was halted after the #100 Grove Racing Mercedes-AMG lost a wheel while exiting the pits, forcing officials to temporarily stop the action. Van der Linde ultimately settled for 12th.

Craft-Bamboo, Absolute Racing and Wall Racing in Top Ten

Seventh position went to the #77 Craft-Bamboo Racing Mercedes-AMG, which briefly held the fastest lap during the session.

The #911 Absolute Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R secured eighth place, while the Bronze entry #93 Wall Racing Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2 rounded out the top ten in a highly competitive Bathurst 12 Hour qualifying battle.
