Dutch racing driver Mex Jansen makes the switch from GT World Challenge Europe to European Le Mans Series. The youngster will compete for GR Racing and will have to adjust to a new GT3 car.

Jansen is fresh off a title-winning campaign in the GTWCE, in which he won the Silver Cup title with Century Motorsport. He’s stacking up the titles, as he also won the Supercar Challenge in 2024.

From BMW to Ferrari

The switch to ELMS is significant: Jansen is trading his BMW M4 GT3 Evo for a Ferrari 296 GT3. He’ll meet the Prancing Horse soon, as the ELMS Prologue is scheduled for April 6 and 7. The first race will also take place at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, on April 12. The 19-year-old completes the line-up of the UK-based team with Michael Wainwright and Lorcan Hanafin.

Jansen recently told GT REPORT about his path to the top of GT racing. The Dutchman made his racing debut just four years ago, when he was sixteen years old. While many of his peers were still karting, he stepped straight into a BMW 240i.
