The 2027 Michelin Pilot Challenge schedule has been released, highlighted by IMSA’s return to Lime Rock Park for the first time since 2023.

IMSA’s most recent appearance at Lime Rock Park came in 2023, when the GTD Pro and GTD classes competed there in the sanctioning body’s top series. The TCR class also joined the weekend, marking the last time Michelin Pilot Challenge competed at the track.

Now, the series will return to the famed circuit for a three-day race weekend, September 23-25, featuring a two-hour enduro.

“The loyal fans at Lime Rock Park have been hungry for a return of IMSA competition, and we are thrilled to bring it to them in the fall of 2027,” said Doonan in the release. “This race will give the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge another well-deserved opportunity in the spotlight and will undoubtedly be a highlight of what we expect will be another highly competitive season in 2027.”

Joining Michelin Pilot Challenge on the bill will be the VP Racing Fuels SportsCar Challenge and a “single make” series that will be announced at a later date, according to IMSA President John Doonan.

Next season’s slate will open at Daytona, January 28-31, with one of two four-hour races. The series will then make stops at Sebring (March 17-20), Mid-Ohio (June 11-12) for the final four-hour contest, Watkins Glen (June 24-27), CTMP (July 9-11), Road America (July 29-August 1), VIR (August 20-22), Indianapolis (September 17-19), and the season finale at Road Atlanta (October 3-6).
