Kelvin van der Linde put Saturday’s disappointment behind him with pole position for Sunday’s DTM Race 2 at Zandvoort. The #3 Schubert Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 driver beat Thierry Vermeulen’s #69 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 to the top spot and is now targeting a strong result from the front. “I definitely want to see if we can get a podium today,” he told GT REPORT.
Luca Engstler delivered an impressive P3 in his Lamborghini Temerario GT3 for Red Bull Team Abt after lacking pace in the opening round of the DTM championship. “I think the team has made good steps together with Lamborghini improving the car. We’re all proud and happy to be here now.”
Race 2 starts at 13:30 CEST.
