Laguna Seca

GT REPORT has always been about capturing the passion of GT and endurance racing through the eyes of the fans who live it. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re opening the door for new writers, photographers and creatives who want to grow with us by covering a full championship season, creating features, conducting interviews and helping tell the stories behind the sport.

You don’t need to be a full-time professional. Curiosity, motivation and a genuine love for racing matter far more. What we value most are contributors who want to commit to one series for at least a year — following its story, getting to know the people, and helping us build consistent, recognisable coverage.

What we’re looking for

For 2026, we’re especially interested in people who want to:

  • Cover a full season of a championship such as Italian GT, DTM, GT World Challenge Europe, NLS, GT3 Legends/Revival Series, WEC or IMSA (trackside when possible, but at-home roles are equally welcome);
  • Create interviews and features that go beyond race results to tell the human or statistic stories behind the sport;
  • Build a body of work over time, growing their skills and presence within motorsport media;
  • Contribute photos or visuals to support race reports, interviews and features;
  • Social media content creators;
  • Follow GT racing news and turn developments into engaging stories for fans;
  • We ask photographers to also be open and willing to contribute (materials for) written content such as interviews and other features.

Whether your heart lies with a major series or a national championship, your season-long involvement helps GT REPORT provide deeper, more meaningful coverage.

If you do want to attend races, we support contributors in working professionally with media accreditation and understanding the responsibilities that come with it.

What we do

GT REPORT is built on passion, not pressure. We tell stories through race reports, photography, interviews and features, mixing news with deeper insights and analysis that help fans understand the sport’s people and moments.

We also help contributors learn how to present their work on social media and grow their audience on platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

What we offer

We can’t offer paid positions, but we do provide:

  • Publication under your own byline and photo credit;
  • Guidance from experienced journalists and communication professionals;
  • Editorial feedback, support and help shaping stories;
  • Media accreditation when professional standards are met;
  • A connected, international community of motorsport fans and creatives;
  • Practical experience in writing, photography and social media, and a genuine path to building your name;
  • Several past and present contributors have gone on to motorsport careers.

You don’t need perfect English or years of experience, just enthusiasm, a good eye for a story and a willingness to grow. AI tools are welcome when used responsibly to support your writing and workflow.

If you love GT and endurance racing and want to join an independent platform that helps newcomers develop real skills over a full season, we’d love to hear from you.
