2 Seas Motorsport has confirmed that Kevin Tse and Maximilian Götz will once again team up to pilot the first of its two Mercedes-AMG GT3 entries for the 2025 British GT Championship. The duo, who secured two victories and a pole position in 2024, are back with renewed determination after finishing seventh in last year’s standings due to an inconsistent campaign.

The announcement also unveiled a refreshed blue and pink livery for the car, courtesy of a new sponsorship deal with fashion brand A Bathing Ape. Fans can expect the stylish Mercedes-AMG GT3 to hit the track with a bold new look when the season kicks off at Donington Park on April 5-6.

Tse, a standout performer since his British GT debut in 2021—where he claimed victory in his first race—has proven his pedigree. After narrowly missing the Silver-Am title in 2023 with Sky Tempesta and McLaren, he joined 2 Seas last year and returned to the overall winner’s circle alongside Götz. The latter, a former DTM champion and Mercedes-AMG factory driver, brings a wealth of experience as he enters his second season in the British GT series.

Reflecting on their reunion, Tse said, “It is great to be back with the crew at 2 Seas Motorsport, and running again with Max. Last year, we showed ourselves to be a strong package, but we lacked consistency across the season. It seemed that we were all or nothing – either taking a win or not scoring any points – which is not the way to tackle a championship.”

He added, “This year, we are in a much better position in terms of preparation, including having a more focused testing programme, and the aim is to execute every weekend as we know we can, without any mistakes. If we can do this, we will be championship contenders.”

The 2024 season showcased the pair’s potential with standout performances, but their “all or nothing” results ultimately hampered their title bid. With a refined approach and enhanced preparation, Tse and Götz are poised to challenge for the championship in 2025.

2 Seas Motorsport has yet to reveal the driver lineup for its second Mercedes-AMG GT3 entry, with an announcement expected later today. The nine-round British GT season promises fierce competition, and all eyes will be on Donington Park next month as Tse and Götz aim to kick off their campaign in style.
