EasyRace will make its debut in the Italian GT Endurance Championship this season, fielding a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the competitive Pro-Am category.
After two seasons in the Sprint series, the Padua-based team led by Michele Paccagnella expands its programme to include the endurance championship, starting with the season opener at Misano on 3–4 May. The driver line-up combines youth and experience, featuring 19-year-old Carlo Tamburini, Leonardo Gorini, and Luigi Coluccio.
Tamburini returns to the Italian GT Championship after a successful international campaign in the GT2 European Series, where he finished second overall. In 2023, he claimed the GT3 Pro-Am vice-champion title in the Italian GT Endurance series and scored outright GT3 podiums in both the Italian GT Sprint and Endurance championships. Gorini, a standout performer in the GT2 European Series, will make his Italian GT debut, while Coluccio, the 2022 Italian GT Cup Sprint Pro-Am champion with EasyRace, brings further winning pedigree to the crew.
Speaking after the first tests with the Ferrari 296 GT3, Tamburini said: “The car is fantastic in every technical detail, and racing a Ferrari in GT3 adds extra value in many ways. The feeling with my teammates is super positive too. We have a great opportunity to fight for the podium in Pro-Am, but race strategy will be crucial, especially with points awarded at the 100-minute mark and managing traffic from the numerous GT Cup entries.”
EasyRace aims to build on its past successes in the Italian GT Sprint series as it steps into endurance racing with a strong line-up and a proven car. The 2025 Endurance season kicks off on 3–4 May at Misano.
