Having already announced a full-season entry in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship which was then put on hold due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Steller Motorsport will make their long-awaited GT3 debut with their Audi R8 LMS GT3 at Brands Hatch this weekend.

Behind the wheel will be Richard Williams and Sennan Fielding who already have several GT4 victories under their belt racing Stellar’s Audi R8 LMS GT4.

The pairing will compete in the Silver Cup class bringing the entry up to seven cars with Fielding making his GT3 debut whilst Williams returns to the class he last competed in back in 2008.

“It’s great to finally be able to give the GT3 its race debut,” said team principal Gary Blackham. “Like so many others in the sport we have been working hard to overcome the significant challenges of the pandemic that delayed the start to our season but now we want to hit the ground running, just as we did when we debuted the GT4 car.

“Sennan and Richard know how to win races and we know that the new Audi is a very competitive package. We’re looking to run very well right from the off.”
