The 2026 British GT Championship calendar has been unveiled, confirming a six-round schedule that largely mirrors recent seasons while dropping one of its two events at Donington Park.

As part of a broader cost-conscious trend seen across SRO-organised series, the season will reduce to six rounds to help manage budgets for teams and organisers alike. The autumn Donington Park event, long a fixture as the season finale, has been removed. In its place, the season will now conclude at Brands Hatch in late September. Donington will continue to feature earlier in the campaign, preserving its place as one of the championship’s most iconic venues.

The rest of the calendar remains largely unchanged, with Silverstone once again opening the season in late April, followed by the popular Oulton Park Bank Holiday meeting in May. The series’ only international round at Spa-Francorchamps returns in June just ahead of the 24 Hours of Spa, while Snetterton, Donington Park and Brands Hatch complete the summer run. Brands Hatch will now host the season finale in late September.
