#5 Scherer Sport PHX Audi R8 LMS GT3 driver Frank Stippler starts the final VLN Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) race of the season from pole position. The veteran was out early to set a quick 7m53.935sec which with the yellow flags that followed through most of the qualifying session turned out to be the fastest of the morning.

Speed Trophy champion Christian Krognes was 1.632sec behind, the Norwegian lining up the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 on the front row after yet another strong performance in the cold Eifel.

Row two sees the #24 Dörr Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 and #9 Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 starting alongside each other with respectively Ben Dörr (7m55.974sec) and Fabian Schiller (7m56.099sec) setting their teams’ best times.

The top ten was completed by the #35 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 and #21 Rutronik Racing Porsche 992 GT3R on the third row, #17 ProSport-Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 and #45 CP Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 on the fourth, and #20 Car Collection Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3 and #3 Falken Motorsports Porsche 992 GT3R on the fifth row of the grid.
