The #16 Scherer Sport PHX Audi R8 LMS GT3 with drivers Frank Stippler, Christopher Mies, Ricardo Feller and Dennis Marschall has won the 2024 ADAC RAVENOL 24 hours of Nürburgring matching Manthey Porsche for wins in the race. However, the race was stopped at 23:23 due to fog with an announcement set for 08:30 the following morning regarding a re-start.

With the Eiffel fog still enveloping the track it took until 12:30 for a restart amounting to 5 laps behind the safety car to determine the conditions. Although the sun was breaking out over some parts of the track, the areas around the GP loop were still impossible to race on so the decision was made to end the 52nd running of the 24-hour race with a little over one hour left on the clock and barely a third of the race distance completed.
This gave the victory to the #16 Audi team with second place going to the #911 Manthey EMA Porsche 911 GT3 R of Kevin Estre. Laurens Vanthoor, Thomas Preining and Ayhanca Güven, Behind the Porsche, third place went to the #72 BMW M Team RMG M4 GT3 of Dan Harper, Max Hesse and Charles Weerts.
