Several teams across all four classes are set to sport special liveries this weekend for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season finale at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (MRRA), the ten-hour Motul Petit Le Mans. While some will honor their brand’s racing heritage and legacy, others will feature more festive and symbolic designs for Saturday’s race.
Meyer Shank Racing & Acura
Unveiled two weeks ago at Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Battle on the Bricks, Meyer Shank Racing, alongside Acura, is paying tribute to the brand with a special livery for its No. 93 ARX-06 in GTP. The design highlights many of Acura’s sports car racing accolades from the past several seasons as the manufacturer pauses its IMSA GTP program entering 2027.
The primarily gray design features notable statistics highlighting Acura’s success across various classes, including its GT efforts. The car also pays tribute to several teams that have campaigned Acura machinery over the years, including Wayne Taylor Racing, which won nine races with the brand, three of which came in the form of Rolex 24 at Daytona victories between 2019 and 2021.
Additionally, MSR revealed a new sponsor-based livery for the No. 60 ARX-06 for the final two events of the season. The design features a modern black-and-green OnlyBulls livery.
Ford Racing
In conjunction with celebrating the 125th anniversary of Ford’s racing heritage, the “Blue Oval” has unveiled special liveries for this weekend’s IMSA season finale, the 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (MRRA), for its pair of GTD Pro-entered Ford Mustang GT3s.
The liveries pay tribute to the color scheme of Ford’s first race car, the 1901 “Sweepstakes,” which was driven by company founder Henry Ford. Ford went on to defeat famed racer Alexander Winton in the race, an achievement that helped establish his reputation in the automotive industry and ultimately preceded the creation of Ford Motor Co.
The 1901 “Sweepstakes” was powered by a single-cylinder gasoline engine producing approximately 26 horsepower and capable of reaching speeds of up to 50 mph. More than a century later, its modern counterpart, the Ford Mustang GT3, represents a significant evolution in performance, with a top speed of approximately 180 mph.
The revitalized design features a black base accented by gold and red, recreating the distinctive color scheme of the “Sweepstakes.” The livery will adorn both the No. 64 and No. 65 Ford Mustang GT3 entries for Saturday’s race.
Manthey
Manthey shifts from its traditional Grello livery to orange this weekend, with the team’s No. 911 Porsche 911 GT3 R sporting Viessmann’s signature colorway in GTD Pro.
Viessmann is a family-owned company founded in 1917 that produces and sells heating and refrigeration systems worldwide. The brand will donate €50,000 to the German Cancer Research Center and the Austin Hatcher Foundation to support cancer research and treatment efforts.
Fittingly, the design also correlates with the IMSA return of 2025 GTP champion Mathieu Jaminet, who currently competes with Genesis Magma Racing, a team whose identity is highlighted by its orange branding.
AO Racing
AO Racing is getting rather festive with its team attire this weekend, bringing back Skelton Rexy on its No. 77 Porsche 911 GT3 R in GTD Pro while making the U.S. debut of Rockie on its No. 99 Oreca 07 Gibson in the LMP2 class.
Rexy’s Skelton variant pays homage to the upcoming spooky holiday, Halloween, featuring a white skeletal silhouette of the usual green dinosaur against a black base. This year’s version of Rexy-ton is highlighted by glow-in-the-dark bones, allowing the No. 77 to stand out as the Road Atlanta circuit darkens.
Rockie, which debuted earlier this year at the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a new character in AO Racing’s fleet, honors team sponsor Mobil 1. The character represents the Pegasus featured throughout the brand’s identity. Similar to Rexy and Spike, Rockie is featured on the team’s No. 99 Oreca as an anthropomorphic, all-red Pegasus, reflecting Mobil 1’s signature colors.
Conquest Racing
Conquest Racing will pay tribute this weekend to one of its own, driver Cédric Sbirrazzuoli, who tragically passed away in August at 39, with their No. 34 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo. The team will run the same livery Sbirrazzuoli shared with Manny Franco and Albert Costa in 2024, when the trio claimed the GTD class victory at that year’s Motul Petit Le Mans.
Wayne Taylor Racing
Wayne Taylor Racing showcases a nod to October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month on its No. 45 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2, with pink accents adorning the team’s GTD entry.
This weekend’s race also marks the end of the Huracán GT3 EVO2’s IMSA tenure, with Wayne Taylor Racing remaining the only team to campaign the previous-generation Lamborghini GT3 car in the championship during the 2026 season.
Winward Racing
Championship hopefuls Winward Racing return their GTD-entered green-and-black No. 57 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO to Road Atlanta this weekend following its debut at Indianapolis.
The design retains much of the team’s standard blue-and-black look while swapping the blue accents for green.
