Watch live: Max Verstappen in the GT World Challenge Europe at Portimão

Max Verstappen lines up for the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS season finale at Portimão today. The three-hour Endurance Cup race at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve starts at 17:00 local time (18:00 CEST), and you can follow every lap via the live stream below.

Boutsen VDS Racing lead the grid

The #2 Boutsen VDS Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R of Morris Schuring, Dorian Boccolacci and Alessio Picariello starts from pole. The #17 Team GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 joins them on the front row just over a tenth behind, while the #80 Lionspeed Porsche 911 GT3 R starts third.

Verstappen’s #3 Mercedes-AMG GT3 starts 15th after traffic hurt its qualifying runs. However, with three hours of racing and a finish after sunset, there is plenty of time to work through the field for Verstappen and teammates Ben Barnicoat and Chris Lulham.

Winward Racing already crowned

The titles were settled before the lights go out. Winward Racing had already secured the Endurance Cup at the Nürburgring, and yesterday the #48 crew also became overall GT World Challenge Europe champions after their disqualification from the second Sprint race at Misano was overturned on appeal. That ended Lionspeed’s final chance of the overall drivers’ title.
