The Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo 2019 made its first appearance in full 2019-spec last weekend at VLN8. Car Collection Motorsport was given the the upgraded GT3 to try out, along with a small army of Audi Sport engineers and works drivers Christopher Haase and Jamie Green. It was a successful test: starting from the back of the first starting group as per the SPX-GT3 prototype rules, the car finished an impressive fifth behind the 2019-spec Aston Martin Vantage GT3, entered in SPX as well.
