Hello GT REPORT readers,
I’m Davide, a motorsport photographer since the age of 14. Over the years, I’ve covered everything from Formula 1 to GT racing, prototypes and motocross, in short, anything powered by an engine.
Throughout this journey, I’ve learned by closely observing the work of true masters such as Angelo Orsi and Ercole Colombo, but above all the photographer who has inspired me the most, Mirco Lazzari. From him, I learned never to settle, to look at racing from multiple perspectives, and not to limit myself to the action on track alone. Motorsport is a world that extends far beyond lap times. It lives in the people, the drivers and fans, the mechanics in the garages, and everyone who contributes to this sport.
Mirco’s philosophy has always been simple and powerful. Search for the photograph where others don’t think to look. With this selection, ‘The Best’, I hope each image conveys the emotion of the moment and the atmosphere that makes motorsport so special.
