Wright Motorsports announced on Wednesday that it will field two Porsche 911 GT3 R entries in the 2026 GT World Challenge America campaign, alongside a single Porsche programme in GT America.

The centrepiece of its effort will be a two-car assault in the Pro-Am class of GT World Challenge America. Dave Musial Jr. teams up with New Zealand’s Ryan Yardley in the #31 Porsche, while Therese Lahlouh joins forces with Thomas Merrill in the #242 entry. Completing the programme, Musial will also contest the single-driver, sprint-focused GT America championship in the SRO3 class.

Musial states that championships are the goal this season and they feel Wright is the place to do it. “We were honestly blown away,” Musial said. “The professionalism, preparation, and execution are next level.”

Dave Jr. has equally high praise for team leadership. “What really stood out is that Adam Adelson isn’t just the team owner—he’s a hardcore racer like we are. He understands what it takes to win and how much of a team effort it is. After a lot of conversations with Adam and Bob, it was clear we share the same passion, the same drive, and the same goal: to be number one.”

Lahlouh is enthusiastic for this step up for her. “I’m a developing driver, and it’s so important to have the right mentors. He’s really helped me to level up my driving and my mental game, and I feel like I’m in great hands with both Thomas and Wright Motorsports,” says Lahlouh on the importance of Merrill as a coach and mentor.

Merrill reciprocates his enthusiasm helping Lahlouh further grow as a driver. “Therese has worked really hard and come a long way in the past couple seasons to prepare for this next step in her career path.” Merrill goes on to further say, ” It’ll be a lot of fun to watch her continued growth in GT3 machinery.”

The 2026 SRO America season begins at Sonoma Raceway on March 27–29.
