The support bill for the 65th Rolex 24 at Daytona in January will look different. Porsche Carerra Cup North America (PCCNA) will kick off their 2027 season on the high banks of the World Center of Racing.

Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA) announced the full seven-round schedule for the championship Tuesday. Highlighting the schedule is the aforementioned trip to Daytona International Speedway, a first for the series since its launch in 2021. Moreover, the schedule is down from eight rounds in 2026 with neither Watkins Glen nor Indianapolis returning.

The rest of the schedule will look similar to 2026. The series will support Formula 1 at both the Miami Grand Prix in May and the October US Grand Prix at COTA in Austin, TX. Furthermore, PCCNA will support the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship at its remaining rounds at Sebring, Long Beach, Road America and Road Atlanta.

IMSA and PMNA also announced a multi-year extension agreement that confirms IMSA will continue to sanction the popular one-make series.

Contrarily, the PCCNA schedule reveal raises questions for the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup as a support race for the Rolex 24. With PCCNA taking up the dates long held by the MX-5 Cup, it appears one of the most popular events of the weekend is not set to return.
