McLaren Trophy America confirmed their schedule for the 2027 season, their first under IMSA sanction after two seasons under SRO management. Similarly to the past two seasons, the series will feature ten races over five weekends. The meetings will be in backdrops that are a mix of new and familiar for the series.

One of those new venues kick off the season. The series will support the NTT IndyCar Series for the first time at Barber Motorsport Park in April. Following Barber comes some familiarity. The series returns to the support programme for the Miami Grand Prix in May. Comparatively, Miami is the only venue from this season that will carry over to 2027.

We will have to wait until June when McLaren Trophy America will feature part of an IMSA weekend for the first time. The series will visit Watkins Glen for the first time as part of the Sahlen’s Six Hours weekend. After Watkins Glen come a pair of old friends, previously visited in 2025. Virginia International Raceway returns in August, supporting the GT-only round for the WeatherTech Championship. Finally, the series concludes in a return to Circuit of the Americas, supporting the Lone Star Le Mans FIA World Endurance Championship round.
