Bentley is back in the ADAC GT Masters. T3 Motorsport will be representing the British marque in the ADAC GT Masters in 2020 as it enters a Bentley Continental GT3 alongside an Audi R8 LMS GT3 for its second year in the German sports car championship.
“The announcement about our programme with the Bentley will certainly have taken everyone by surprise,” said team principal Jens Feucht. “We’re proud to have been selected as Bentley’s new partner and be the only team in Germany allowed to race the Continental GT3. The car is pretty awesome. Even though I think our first year with the Bentley will be spent learning on the job, so to speak, I’m fairly certain that we’ll cause quite a stir.”
21-year-old Constantin Schöll has been brought in to pilot the Bentley with a second driver to be announced later. The Austrian graduates from ADAC GT4 Germany where he finished 16th in the championship in 2019.
Bentley was formerly represented in the ADAC GT Masters in 2015 and 2016 by HTP Motorsport and Abt Sportsline. The car manufacturer stands at a lone victory for its first-generation GT3 machine.
Additionally, T3 Motorsport again brings an Audi R8 LMS GT3 with Maximilian Paul driving. Niels Langeveld joins as co-driver for his ADAC GT Masters debut. The Dutchman is no stranger to the brand from Stuttgart as he contested the FIA WTRC last year as works driver aboard the Audi RS 3 LMS TCR.
“I’m delighted to be competing in the ADAC GT Masters this year,” said Langeveld. “I haven’t driven the Audi R8 LMS yet, so I’m all the more excited about the new season.”
