Audi Sport Italia currently sees itself preparing for its Italian GT Endurance championship campaign, having announced its driver line-ups for the opening round of the series set to be held this weekend at Enna-Pergusa.
The #12 Audi R8 LMS GT3 will be piloted by the previously confirmed duo of Riccardo Agostini and Lorenzo Ferrari, while Mattia Drudi joins the team as its third driver. The #14 Audi meanwhile will be piloted by Italian GT veteran and 2013 champion Vito Postiglione, 29-year-old Polish Karol Basz, and Czech driver and GT ace Filip Salaquarda.
Karol Basz makes his series return after having participated in the championship behind the wheel of a Lamborghini Huracán in 2017 (GT Cup) and 2018 (GT3). Salaquarda meanwhile is set to make his series debut after having had previous experience racing in competitive GT series like the FIA GT Championship, GT World Challenge, and ADAC GT Masters.
Track activity will begin with three free practice sessions and qualifying scheduled for Saturday, while the three-hour race will take place on Sunday at 11:10 local time.
