The iconic Silverstone 500 is set to welcome back GT4 veteran Will Moore to the British GT Champioship, marking his first appearance in the category since 2016. Partnering with debutant Jon Kearney, the duo will race under Century Motorsport’s banner in the BMW M4 GT3 Evo, the same car Moore campaigns in the GT World Challenge Europe.
Moore, a familiar face in British GT4, has a rich history with Academy Motorsport, piloting Aston Martins and Ford Mustangs to a championship runner-up finish in 2021 alongside Matt Cowley. His sole GT3 outing prior to this event was in 2016 with Optimum Motorsport’s Audi R8. Now, he’s ready to tackle Silverstone’s challenging circuit once more.
Joining him is Jon Kearney, a rising star who began racing just three years ago in the Ginetta GTA Championship, where he secured a runner-up spot. Kearney’s recent third-place finish in class at the 24 Hours of Barcelona highlights his rapid progression. “Teaming up with Will and Century feels like the perfect step forward,” Kearney said. “Our testing has been promising, and we’re here to compete, not just participate.”

Moore echoed the sentiment: “Returning to British GT at Silverstone is thrilling. The BMW M4 GT3 Evo is a fantastic car, and with Jon and Century’s support, we’re poised for a strong weekend.”
Century Motorsport, no stranger to Silverstone success, claimed outright victory in the 2023 Silverstone 500 with Darren Leung and Dan Harper. Despite a refueling setback last year, the team remains a formidable force. The Silver-Am pairing of Moore and Kearney promises an exciting challenge as they aim to leave their mark on this prestigious endurance race.
