The first layer of the 2027 IMSA calendar is set, with the 65th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona scheduled for January 28–31, 2027.
The Roar Before the 24 will once again serve as the official precursor the week prior, taking place January 22–24. The 2027 Rolex 24 is expected to feature the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship alongside the Michelin Pilot Challenge.
The date shift places the Rolex 24 one week later than this year, as Daytona’s 2027 schedule adjusts around the Daytona 500 being held on Presidents’ Day weekend, February 21.
“With so many fans traveling from all 50 states and dozens of countries for North America’s most prestigious sports car race, we wanted to give fans plenty of time to make their travel and lodging plans for the 2027 Rolex 24,” said Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher. “We’re looking forward to welcoming fans back to the World Center of Racing for another incredible twice-around-the-clock marathon.”
This year’s edition begins Saturday, January 24 at 1:40 PM ET, with live coverage on NBC and Peacoc
