Throughout the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring weekend, Moritz Kranz will share behind-the-scenes updates from inside the #904 Mühlner Motorsport powered by H&R Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

Friday finally brought dry conditions to the Nordschleife, giving Kranz the chance to complete his first dry laps in a Porsche 992 Cup car since 2024.

Friday only featured one session for us with Qualifying 3, and after two mixed and wet sessions on Thursday, it looked like the best opportunity to finally get some proper laps in dry conditions.

For me personally, it was quite important because I hadn’t had any dry lapping in a Porsche 992 Cup since September 2024, so I was really looking forward to it. We went out right at the start of the session and got one clean lap in, which was enough for P2 in class.

The second flying lap would probably have been a good bit faster as well, but a Code 60 at Schwalbenschwanz meant there was no chance to improve the lap time. Shortly after that, the rain arrived again and we just finished the session with some brake bedding.

All in all, I’m happy with how the weekend has gone so far and now I’m really looking forward to the race.
