Before the main event Sunday afternoon, there are some final pieces of business to tend to. Let’s discuss the last few events of the SRO America support programme for the Road America weekend.
McLaren Trophy America

Michael O’Brien started from pole in Race 2 of the weekend and led the field away. O’Brien controlled the field during his stint. Randy Highland couldn’t keep up with the Silver Pros and wanted to take the class win. Meanwhile, James Li in the RWE Motorsport Artura suffered mechanical issues at Turn 7, their morning coming to an end.
After the pit stop window, Tanner Harvey would control the field in the Forte Racing Artura. Harvey went unchallenged to the end of the race. The race would be cut short as Fabio Greco crashed in the wall at Turn 2 in his OMS Artura with five minutes remaining. The safety car would pace the field to the checkered flag.
Harvey and Patrick Liddy rebound from a rough Saturday to celebrate their third win of the season. Alexandra Hainer would get her elbows out, powering past Randy Highland in Turn 3. Hainer would finish second overall to secure Pro-Am honors for her and teammate Jesse Lazarre. Finally, Collin Harrison scores his first victory of the season in Am for TechSport.
GT America

In the latest episode of the Memo Gidley Show – aka the 2026 GT America season – things were slightly off script. Gidley did not start from pole for a change. Tony Davis scored pole through his Race 1 fastest lap. But never fear Memo grabbed the lead at the first opportunity in Turn 5. Subsequently, Gidley checked out and managed his gap to the rest of the field. Meanwhile, Davis spent the rest of the race battling Ross Chouest. With four and a half minutes to go, Chouest pulled the pass off through Turn 3 and the Corvette pulled away to solidify second.
Gidley remains undefeated with him potentially claiming the GT America title as early as the next round at Barber. Lawrence Tomlinson (GT2), David Lecko (Cup) and Craig Lumsden (GT4) swept the weekend in their uncontested classes.
Toyota GR Cup North America
Rounding out our Sunday recap is Race 2 of Toyota GR Cup North America. Max Schweid, third on Saturday, beat Saturday winner Jeremy Fletcher to pole. Schweid lead the field into Turn 1 off the start. Certainly, Schweid knew he would have to defend like his life depended on it. The defense strategy worked until Lap 9 when Fletcher got a monster run out of Turn 14. Fletcher gets side-by-side down the frontstretch and completed the pass around the outside of Turn 1.
Points leader Spike Kohlbecker hit mechanical trouble with seventeen minutes to go, bringing out a safety car. The restart saw Fletcher reassert himself in the lead while Max Schweid fell back in the pack. Finally, the yellow was deployed one final time with two and a half minutes left, freezing the field. Jeremy Fletcher sweeps the weekend and takes a big bite into Kohlbecker’s points lead in the process. The gap is now just 13 points with four races to go. Parker Delong finishes second and Max Schweid gets back-to-back third places on the weekend.
