After a season filled with cancellations and reschedulings, VLN has presented the Nürburgring Endurance Series calendar for 2021, returning to a normal nine-race schedule and adding a July doubleheader..
The Nordschleife championship opens on 27th March with the 66. ADAC Westfalenfahrt. April, May and June see one race in each month with the May and June races separated by eight weeks to make way for the Nürburgring 24 Hours on 3-6th June. On the 10th and 11th July, a doubleheader will be held for the first time in a regular season following the success of this year’s impromptu July doubleheader. August will be a month off as the series returns to action on 11th September with the Rowe 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen – the six-hour race being the only non-four-hour race on the calendar. Two weeks later the 53. ADAC Barbarossapreis hosts the penultimate round of the season, followed another two weeks later by the 45. DMV Münsterlandpokal for an unusual early October season finale.
