The Lausitzring weekend brought wet conditions, late penalties and a shake-up at the top of the DTM standings. Marco Mapelli crossed the line first in Race 1, only to lose the win to a Full Course Yellow penalty that promoted Ben Dörr to victory. Matteo Cairoli then took Race 2 to move into the championship lead.
