SR Motorsport by Schnitzelalm is gearing up for a two-car effort at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours, entering both a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in SP9 Pro-Am and a Mercedes-AMG GT4 in SP10.

Following a second-place finish in Pro-Am last year, the team from Bad Hindelang returns with a strengthened GT3 line-up. The #11 Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be shared by Nordschleife veteran Kenneth Heyer, ADAC GT4 Germany points leader Jay Mo Härtling, ADAC GT Masters regular Jannes Fittje, and former Bentley factory driver Christopher Brück, who has won the 24-hour race in the past two years in Porsche machinery.

“Over the past three years, we have tried to compete at the top of the overall standings and have accordingly declared attack mode,” said team boss Thomas Angerer. “This year will be our fourth start with a GT3 and we will approach things a little more conservatively and defensively. It won’t be about shaving seconds off the lap times, but rather about putting in a consistent race with a strong driver line-up and finishing the race. We also hope that the weather gods will finally be on our side and that we’ll have a great 24-hour race in good conditions!”

The SP10 line-up is led by long-time Schnitzelalm driver Tim Neuser, joined by experienced Nordschleife racers Reinhold Renger and Guido Wirtz, plus American David Thilenius, who has been a regular part of the GT4 crew since 2022.

The ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring takes place on 22–23 June.
