TFT Racing was fastest in qualifying for the 26th edition of the Michelin 24H Barcelona, putting the #28 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO of Patrick Charlaix, Benjamin Paque, Jordan Boisson, and Maro Engel on pole position. A final flyer of 1m40.622sec by Engel, brought the combined lap time down to 1m41.101sec. The #18 Saintéloc Junior Team Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II of Michael Doppelmayr, Pierre Kaffer, Elia Erhart, Ernst Inderbitzin, and Stephane Tribaudini will join them on the front row, followed by the #73 Proton Huber Competition Porsche 911 GT3 R of Jörg Dreisow, Manuel Lauck, Klaus Bachler, and Constantin Dressler.

The #93 RedAnt Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 of Yannick Redant, Ayrton Redant, Kobe de Breucker, Kenneth Heyer, and Loek Hartog and the #56 Scuderia Praha Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 completed the top five.

Class pole sitters

In GT3 Am, the #11 HOFOR Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO set the best time. Porsche 911 GT Cup class pole went to the #901 Am squad of Ajith Kumar Racing by Red Ant. In GTX, the #974 Vortex V8 led the way, while the #488 NM Racing Team Mercedes-AMG GT4 topped GT4. TCE honours went to the #133 J-Mec Engineering BM W M3.

The 24-hour Michelin 24H Barcelona begins Saturday at 12:00 local time.
