The combined results from Top Qualifying 1 and Top Qualifying 2 have determined the cars advancing to this afternoon’s Top Qualifying 3 pole shootout for the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring.

Nick Yelloly set the fastest overall time across both sessions with an 8:10.485 in the #130 Red Bull Team ABT Lamborghini Huracan GT3 during Top Qualifying 2. He finished ahead of Christian Krognes in the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

Ayhancan Güven placed third overall in the #911 Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R, while Arjun Maini put the #64 HRT Ford Mustang GT3 into fourth. Denis Olsen followed in fifth aboard the sister #67 HRT Ford Mustang GT3.

Max Verstappen qualified sixth in the #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3, ahead of the #7 Konrad Motorsport Lamborghini Huracan GT3 driven by Christian Engelhardt.

Meanwhile, the #80 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 will start 25th after failing to set a lap time in the session following Maro Engel’s brush with the barriers.

Earlier in Top Qualifying 1, Kelvin van der Linde spun at Brünnchen and became stranded in the gravel. However, the #1 ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3 had already secured its place in Top Qualifying 3 as one of the pre-qualified entries.

Joining them in Top Qualifying 3 are the pre-qualified #47 KCMG Mercedes-AMG GT3, the #84 Red Bull Team ABT Lamborghini Huracan GT3, the #45 Realize Kondo Racing with Rinaldi Ferrari, the #1 ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3, and the #16 Scherer Sport PHX Audi R8 LMS GT3.

Top Qualifying 3 is scheduled to begin at 13:35 CEST.
