Luca Engstler secured pole position for the 54th edition of the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring after topping Friday afternoon’s Top Qualifying 3 session aboard the #84 Red Bull Team ABT Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
The German driver delivered an 8:11.123 lap around the Nordschleife to secure the best starting position for this weekend’s race, finishing 0.545 seconds clear of teammate Marco Mapelli in the sister #130 Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
The result completed a front-row lockout for Red Bull Team ABT after both Lamborghini entries showed strong pace throughout the qualifying sessions.
Christopher Haase placed third in the #16 Scherer Sport PHX Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II, ahead of Dani Juncadella in the #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Thomas Neubauer put the #45 REALIZE KONDO RACING with Rinaldi Ferrari 296 GT3 into fifth position, while Maximilian Paul qualified sixth aboard the #7 Franz Konrad Lamborghini Huracán GT3.
Frank Stippler followed in seventh for HRT Ford Racing in the #64 Ford Mustang GT3, with Thomas Preining placing the #911 Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R in eighth.
Raffaele Marciello secured ninth in the #1 ROWE Racing BMW M4 GT3 ahead of David Pittard in the #47 KCMG Mercedes-AMG GT3.
Completing the Top Qualifying 3 order were Nicki Thiim in the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 and Frederic Vervisch in the #67 HRT Ford Racing Ford Mustang GT3.
The Nürburgring 24h gets underway Saturday at 15.00 CEST.
