Twenty-one total entries will hit the streets of Detroit next weekend for the final street race of the 2026 IMSA season, featuring both the GTP and GTD Pro classes in the 100-minute event.

The entry list remains relatively unchanged heading into next Saturday’s clash in the Motor City. One of the only notable additions comes in GTD Pro is a second Vasser Sullivan Lexus entry — the No. 15 — piloted by Aaron Telitz and defending Supercars champion Chaz Mostert. Mostert recently competed in IMSA earlier this year at the Rolex 24 with 75 Express, scoring a runner-up finish in GTD Pro, and previously won the 2020 Rolex 24 in the GTLM class with Team RLL’s BMW effort.

Over the past three seasons, the Detroit Sports Car Classic has featured both GTP and GTD Pro machinery navigating the OEM-heavy street circuit. Prior to 2024, Detroit played host to a Grand Sport (GS) only round of the Michelin Pilot Challenge, the series’ sole appearance at the circuit.

Last year’s edition saw Meyer Shank Racing’s Renger van der Zande and Nick Yelloly secure both the overall and class victory in the No. 93 Acura. The duo will aim for a third consecutive street course win after also triumphing at Long Beach in April.

Ford will likewise look to defend home turf following Mike Rockenfeller and Seb Priaulx’s 2025 victory in the No. 64 Mustang. Neither Rockenfeller nor Priaulx return to defend the win this year, though both Mustang entries remain represented on the grid.

On-track action for next Saturday’s race begins Friday, May 29 at 8 a.m. ET with the first 90-minute practice session of the weekend. The afternoon continues with a two-hour practice at 11:30 a.m. ET, followed by series qualifying at 4:50 p.m. ET. Saturday’s slate on May 30 opens with a brief 20-minute warm-up at 11:10 a.m. ET, with the 100-minute race taking the green flag at 4:10 p.m. ET, live on NBC and Peacock.
