SRO Motorsports Group has confirmed its 2027 racing calendars, with several updates across the Intercontinental GT Challenge and the GT World Challenge championships. The new schedules include returning venues, calendar adjustments, and changes made to improve logistics and support future circuit developments.

Intercontinental GT Challenge

The Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) has officially announced its 2027 calendar. The Bathurst 12 Hour will remain the opening round and will take place on 13–15 February.

The biggest change is in North America. Circuit of The Americas (COTA) will host the Texas 8 Hours, replacing Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This change is expected because Indianapolis may undergo a repaving project. The Texas 8 Hours is scheduled for 8–9 May.

The third round will be the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring on 29–30 May, followed by the biggest event of the season, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, on 24–27 June.

The 2027 season will end with the Suzuka 1000 km on 4–5 September, completing five endurance races across four continents.

GT World Challenge Asia and Australia

GT World Challenge will also see several calendar changes across its regional championships in 2027.

GT World Challenge Asia will return to a six-round calendar after expanding its schedule in 2026. According to SRO, the change was made to reduce travel costs and improve logistics for teams. As part of the new schedule, Chang International Circuit returns to the calendar, while Mandalika has been removed.

In Australia, Mount Panorama returns after missing the 2025 and 2026 seasons, replacing Hidden Valley Raceway. The change brings one of Australia’s most iconic circuits back to the championship, while the rest of the calendar remains largely unchanged, with Queensland Raceway moving to a new date in September.
