The GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup heads to Misano for the third round of the 2026 season. Last year, the Italian circuit produced two different overall winners, with Valentino Rossi and Raffaele Marciello taking Race 1 victory, while Benjamin Goethe and Marvin Kirchhöfer won Race 2. With another competitive field and several championship contenders returning to Misano, this year’s event is expected to be another important weekend in the Sprint Cup title battle.

44-Car Grid Ready for Misano

A total of 44 cars are entered for the event, including 14 Pro entries, eight Gold Cup cars, 12 Silver Cup cars, and 10 Bronze Cup entries.

Heading into Misano, Ricardo Feller and Bastian Buus lead the Sprint Cup standings. Arthur Leclerc and Thomas Neubauer are second, while Maro Engel and Lucas Auer sit third in the championship.

The Pro class once again features many of the championship’s biggest teams and manufacturers. The #31 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 Evo driven by Amaury Cordeel and Jordan Pepper, the #32 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 Evo of Charles Weerts and Kelvin van der Linde, and the #46 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 Evo shared by Max Hesse and Valentino Rossi will compete in the Pro class. Meanwhile, the #30 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3 Evo driven by Matisse Lismont and Ignacio Montenegro will race in the Silver Cup.

Mercedes-AMG is represented by several strong line-ups. The #3 Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo driven by Chris Lulham and Dani Juncadella will compete in the Pro class, while the #48 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Lucas Auer and Maro Engel is another Pro entry. The #6 GetSpeed Team Bartone Bros Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo driven by Anthony Bartone and Aurélien Panis will race in the Silver Cup, while the #12 GetSpeed Team Dubai Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Gabriel Rindone and Fabian Schiller is entered in the Bronze Cup.

Ferrari also arrives with a competitive line-up. The #50 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo driven by Arthur Leclerc and Thomas Neubauer, who currently sit second in the Sprint Cup standings, will compete in the Pro class. Emil Frey Racing fields two Pro entries, with the #14 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo driven by Matteo Cairoli and Konsta Lappalainen, and the #69 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo shared by Thierry Vermeulen and Ben Green.

Porsche is represented by Boutsen VDS, Pure Rxcing, Dinamic GT, Lionspeed GP, Razoon – more than racing, and Ziggo Sport Tempesta Racing. The #80 Lionspeed GP Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo driven by Sprint Cup leaders Ricardo Feller and Bastian Buus leads the manufacturer’s Pro challenge. The #9 Pure Rxcing Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo will compete in the Silver Cup with Aliaksandr Malykhin alongside a driver still to be confirmed.

Aston Martin is represented by Comtoyou Racing and Walkenhorst Motorsport. The #7 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo driven by Nicki Thiim and Kobe Pauwels will compete in the Pro class. The #21 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo races in the Silver Cup, while the #11 Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo is entered in the Bronze Cup. Walkenhorst Motorsport fields the #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo and the #35 Walkenhorst Motorsport Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, both in the Silver Cup.

Audi continues with Eastalent Racing and Tresor Attempto Racing. The #84 Eastalent Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II driven by Simon Reicher and Christopher Haase competes in the Pro class. The #99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II of Alex Aka and Dylan Pereira races in the Gold Cup, the #66 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II driven by Andrea Frassineti and Ariel Levi competes in the Silver Cup, while the #88 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II of Carrie Schreiner and Sebastian Øgaard is entered in the Bronze Cup.

Lamborghini Temerario GT3 with the #96 Rutronik Racing Lamborghini Temerario GT3 driven by Patric Niederhauser and Luca Engstler in the Pro class, while the #163 VSR Lamborghini Temerario GT3 of Mattia Michelotto and Loris Spinelli competes in the Gold Cup.

McLaren is represented by Garage 59, Optimum Motorsport, and CSA Racing. The #59 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo driven by Marvin Kirchhöfer and Dean MacDonald competes in the Pro class, while the #58 Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3 Evo of Louis Prette and Thomas Fleming races in the Gold Cup. The #5 Optimum Motorsport McLaren 720S GT3 Evo driven by Mikey Porter and Guilherme Oliveira is entered in the Silver Cup, while the #111 CSA Racing McLaren 720S GT3 Evo of Arthur Rougier and James Kell and the #555 CSA Racing McLaren 720S GT3 Evo driven by Simon Gachet and Romain Andriolo competes in the Gold Cup

Weekend Schedule

The Misano weekend begins with a paid test session on Thursday, 16 July, from 13:00 to 15:00 CEST. On Friday, 17 July, teams will take part in two practice sessions, with Free Practice 1 scheduled from 14:50 to 16:10 and Free Practice 2 from 20:10 to 21:30. Qualifying for Race 1 takes place on Saturday, 18 July, with Group A running from 13:05 to 13:15 and Group B from 13:20 to 13:30, before Race 1 gets underway at 20:30. On Sunday, 19 July, Qualifying for Race 2 follows the same format, with Group A from 10:05 to 10:15 and Group B from 10:20 to 10:30.
