The penultimate weekend of the 2026 Ferrari Challenge North America season brings the series to Sonoma Raceway for the final stop of its three-race California swing as drivers make their push toward the championship.

The 2.533-mile road course marks the series’ 10th visit to Sonoma since 2011 and serves as the final North American event before the season finale at Road America in September. A total of 55 Ferrari 296 Challenge cars are entered, along with 29 Club Challenge entries and nearly 10 Club Competizioni GT machines.

With just two race weekends remaining, Sonoma could prove pivotal in the championship battle. Seventeen-year-old Johnny Kaminskey enters the weekend with a commanding 51-point lead in the Trofeo Pirelli standings after collecting five victories through the opening eight races.

Trofeo Pirelli Am features the closest title fight, with just four points separating Mitchell Green and Yahn Bernier, while Blake Rosser and Melissa Kozyra lead the Coppa Shell and Coppa Shell Am standings, respectively.

Following two days of testing, official on-track action begins Friday. Qualifying and Race 1 are scheduled for Saturday, with Race 2 concluding the weekend on Sunday. All races will be streamed live on Ferrari’s YouTube channel.
