With the track drying up after the earlier light rain, the #85 R‑Ace GP LMP3 and the #59 Racing Spirit of Leman LMGT3 both jumped to the top of their classes on their final attempts with only seconds left on the clock. In LMP2 Pro/Am, Giorgio Roda put the #30 Duqueine Team on pole in dominant fashion, finishing almost a full second clear of the #3 DKR Engineering. In LMP2, Valerio Rinicella moved straight to the top in the #18 IDEC Sport as soon as qualifying began and stayed there until the flag fell, continuing their strong form from practice as they start tomorrow’s race from pole position.
