Frikadelli Racing won its second pole position this year for the eighth round of the VLN Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) season. After a 90-minute fog delay, Julien Andlauer went out to set a time of 7m53.542s which stood until the chequered flag of qualifying. The Frenchman shares the #30 Frikadelli Racing Porsche 991.2 GT3R with Klaus Abbelen, earning the Pro-Am duo the pole in their sub-class as well.

Lining up alongside Frikadelli Racing will be the #5 Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 of Frank Stippler and Vincent Kolb, missing the fastest lap by just 0.198s.
Behind the Audi, two BMWs fill the second row of the grid, with the #44 BMW Junior Team of Daniel Harper, Neil Verhagen and Max Hesse starting next to the #35 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 of Jörg Müller, Dennis Fetzer and Thomas Neubauer.
A last-minute attempt by Christian Krognes was curtailed by a Code 60 zone at Schwalbenschwanz. Until that point, the Norwegian was piloting his #34 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 to a new lap record. Walkenhorst Motorsport’s lead Pro car starts the race from fifth place courtesy of a 7m57.014s set by David Pittard.
The start of the 53. ADAC Barbarossapreis is set for 12:30 CEST due to the later start of qualifying. Watch the race live on GT.REPORT/live.
