FK Performance Motorsport is planning a move into international GT racing with an entry into the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS in 2026. The Bremen-based BMW team is currently working on expanding its programme after a strong run in the ADAC GT Masters.

Having joined the GT Masters grid in 2023, FK Performance quickly found success, claiming its first win in the same year before finishing runner-up in the 2024 standings. The team now aims to take the next step and compete in one of the most competitive GT championships globally.

“Since our GT3 debut, it has always been a goal to compete for positions at the international level. The GT World Challenge Europe is one of the premier classes of GT racing, featuring great fields of competitors and racing at great venues. With the 24-hour race at Spa, the world’s largest GT3 race is also part of the championship. Our goal is to compete in the series next year with a strong line-up and to present ourselves in the best possible light on this important stage,” said team owners Fabian Finck and Martin Kaemena.

The team was named BMW’s best European customer squad in 2024 and is currently evaluating driver options for the step up. FK Performance also intends to maintain its presence on the DTM platform and is looking at opportunities in the GT4 European Series, where it has previously scored multiple successes, including a DTM Trophy title in 2021 and class wins in the Nürburgring 24 Hours.
