A familiar face returns while a new-ish face comes to the global stage with Cadillac.

Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA confirms their Hypercar driver line-up for the 2027 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season on Thursday. Norman Nato, Will Stevens, Jack Aitken and Earl Bamber all carry over from the 2026 season.

Returning to JOTA is Portugal’s Antonio Felix da Costa. da Costa is no stranger to JOTA, his relationship with the British outfit dating as far back as the 2018 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He competed for the team in WEC in LMP2 from 2019-22, then with the team in privateer Porsche 963s in Hypercar for 2023. da Costa returned to WEC in 2026 driving for Alpine in what looks to be that team’s final season on the grid. 2027 will see da Costa compete in Cadillac machinery for the first time.

The other new driver for 2027 is Ricky Taylor. Taylor is no stranger to Cadillac or GM. Prior to returning to Cadillac in 2025, he raced in GM machinery for his father – Wayne Taylor – in IMSA competition from 2011-17. Taylor made a one-off with the team at September’s Lone Star Le Mans round in the #12 entry, finishing ninth.

Taylor and da Costa replace Alex Lynn and Sebastien Bourdais in the driver line-up. Bourdais currently has no plans solidified for 2027 while Lynn is poised to join McLaren’s budding Hypercar project.

Taylor and Aitken are also set to have joint full-season campaigns in both WEC and IMSA next year. Bamber, Nato and Stevens will also feature in the US for Cadillac in the longer-distance races.

Driver pairings for the two cars will be announced at a later date.
