Italian GT Endurance – Mugello: VSR Lamborghini wins Mugello finale as Tresor Attempto Audi seals Endurance title

The season finale at Mugello belonged to Vincenzo Sospiri Racing, with Michele Beretta, Andrea Frassineti and Rodrigo Testa storming through from sixth on the grid to give the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2 its second win of the year. After climbing into the lead around mid-distance, the trio traded places with teammates Ignazio Zanon, Mattia Michelotto and Kevin Gilardoni before pulling clear in the final stint, securing a dominant 1–2 for VSR. Behind them, Leonardo Colavita, Ibrahim Badawi and David Vidales Ajenjo brought the AF Corse Ferrari home in third, enough to wrap up the GT3 Pro-Am title.

The race itself was far from straightforward: multiple Safety Cars and a lengthy red flag to repair a broken drain cover shuffled the order and put strategy under pressure. Amid the interruptions, Rocco Mazzola, Fabio Rauer and Riccardo Cazzaniga kept their Tresor Attempto Audi R8 LMS out of trouble to finish fifth and clinch the overall GT3 Endurance Championship, while Jason Ambrose, David McDonald and Francesco Castellacci sealed the GT3 Am crown after a steady run to seventh.

GT Cup produced its own drama, with Fabrizio Fontana and Stefano Gai taking 1st Division Pro-Am glory in their Ferrari, and Davide Locanto and Davide Segù lifting the Am title for DL Racing’s Lamborghini after a tense three-way fight. The 2nd Division went Porsche’s way, with Paolo Calcagno (joined at Mugello by Diego Stifter and Lodovico Laurini) securing Pro-Am, while Davide Di Benedetto, Giuseppe Nicolosi and Gianluca Carboni edged the Am championship by just a single point.

DTM – Red Bull Racing: Rast and Feller win as title fight goes down to the wire

Race 1

René Rast returned to winning form with a commanding drive in the #33 Schubert Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 Evo, seizing the lead early and controlling the pace to secure victory and the championship lead. The late drama came on the final lap when Jack Aitken crashed out of second place, handing the runner-up spot to Marco Wittmann and promoting Thierry Vermeulen to third.

Ricardo Feller delivered Land-Motorsport’s first-ever DTM victory with a flawless drive in the #29 Audi, passing Thierry Vermeulen’s Ferrari before pulling clear after the pit stops. Vermeulen held on for second, while Lucas Auer fought back to third, enough to reclaim the championship lead with one round to go. Behind them, René Rast’s title hopes took a hit after a costly penalty left him outside the points. ADAC GT Masters – Red Bull Racing: Hantke and Bulatov give Audi first win since 2022 as Owega and Wiebelhaus extend lead with Mustang triumph

Race 1

Scherer Sport PHX celebrated a breakthrough victory as Nico Hantke and Denis Bulatov guided their Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo2 to a commanding maiden win, giving Audi its first ADAC GT Masters success since 2022. The young pairing controlled the race from pole, building a decisive lead before Bulatov held firm in the closing stages. Behind them, Haupt Racing Team filled the remaining podium places, with Salman Owega and Finn Wiebelhaus in second and Max Reis and Niklas Kalus in third. In Pro-Am, victory went to Jonas Karklys and Emil Gjerdrum in the Liqui Moly Team Engstler Lamborghini, while championship leaders Owega and Wiebelhaus extended their advantage at the top of the standings.

Race 2

Owega and Wiebelhaus delivered a commanding win in the Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3, their second victory of the season extending their lead in the standings to 40 points. The duo overcame pit stop handicaps and pulled clear in the second stint to finish more than 20 seconds ahead. Sandro and Juliano Holzem guided their Schubert Motorsport BMW M4 GT3 Evo to second after a late charge, with local heroes Leo Pichler and Simon Birch completing the podium in Razoon’s Porsche 911 GT3 R following a spirited comeback. Pro-Am honours went to guest starters Fabrizio Crestani and Ernst Kirchmayr in a Baron Motorsport Ferrari 296 GT3.

Falken Motorsports continued its dominance with a 1–2 in the 65th ADAC ACAS Cup as Julien Andlauer/Joel Sturm led home teammates Tim Heinemann/Benny Leuchter, while Black Falcon’s Am-entered Porsche completed the podium. Max Verstappen clocked further licence mileage in the Lionspeed Cayman.
