With the 2026 Italian GT Championship (CIGT) about to begin, BMW Italia-Ceccato Racing Team has announced a strong driver line-up blending factory racers and young talent for both Sprint and Endurance series.
Following championship successes in 2023 and 2024 and a runner-up finish in 2025, the team will field two BMW M4 GT3 cars in an ambitious dual-program effort.
The Sprint series will feature BMW M factory drivers Ugo de Wilde, Augusto Farfus, Jens Klingmann—winner in 2023 and 2024—and Raffaele Marciello.
They will take on the Campionato Gran Turismo Italia campaign alongside the GT World Challenge Europe and the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring.
For the Endurance championship, the team is investing in youth, with William Alatalo, Alfred Nilsson, and Filip Ugran forming a promising trio.
In the Pro-Am Sprint category, Anthony McIntosh and Parker Thompson will compete, while the Endurance Pro-Am line-up includes Riccardo Cirelli, Filippo Barberi, and Jacopo Cimenez.

Paying tribute to BMW M heritage
One of the cars will feature a livery inspired by BMW Motorsport’s heritage, paying tribute to the iconic BMW M3 E30.
Team leadership remains unchanged, with Gianfranco Ceccato, Luigi Slongo, and Roberto Ravaglia overseeing the project, as the team targets top results in both categories for the 2026 season.
The Italian GT Championship starts this weekend with the first Sprint round at Imola. The first Endurance race is set for May 8-10 at Misano.
