Dinamic Motorsport will be joining the grid of the 2020 Italian GT Sprint championship running a Porsche 99.21 GT3R with drivers Alex De Giacomi and Marco Cassarà.
Both drivers have tasted success in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy with Cassarà being the current champion. It was 2017 when the Italian last competed in the Italian GT Championship and he is looking forward to his return.
“I needed a new challenge and I seized this opportunity,” the Roman said. “The fights on track in the past seasons shows that we have a good race pace, a very important factor in this championship.”
The entry represents a fulltime debut for Dinamic Motorsport in the championship and their car will be the third Porsche on the grid joining two from Ebimotors.
For De Giacomi, a familiar face in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy, this is his first time in Italian GT.
“In the past I have never considered the idea of competing by sharing the car,” commented the pilot from Brescia. “But when I learned that there was the possibility of racing with Marco I had no doubts. I believe that together we form a very balanced drivers pair, the ideal base to have a satisfying season.”
The first race of the sprint series will take place on the weekend 1-2 August at the Misano World Circuit followed by Mugello (3-4 October), Monza (17-18 October) and Vallelunga (5-6 December).
