Florida-based team BSI Racing experienced a frightening incident on their way to Circuit of the Americas this afternoon, when the team’s trailer—carrying its Toyota GR Cup cars—caught fire.

Images shared on Facebook by The Volusia County Professional Firefighters Association revealed the extent of the damage to BSI Racing’s equipment. The trailer sustained significant exterior damage toward the rear of the hauler, along with the No. 51 Toyota GR86, which is set to be driven by Massimo Sunseri this weekend. There was no clear indication from the photos that the team’s other entries—the No. 77 of Alcyr Araujo and the No. 007 of Amilio DiLauro—suffered visible damage.

According to the fire department’s post, “En route to training today, Engine 22 came across a fire coming out of this (BSI Racing) enclosed trailer near mile marker 250 between Edgewater and New Smyrna. SQ23 and E51 were on scene as well. Quick work saved a lot of these travelers.” BSI Racing team owner Shea Holbrook confirmed that everyone traveling with the trailer was unharmed.

The team now faces a quick turnaround, with the Toyota GR Cup set to hit the track at Circuit of the Americas beginning Thursday.
