IMSA has announced a date change for the 2027 Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America, moving the event from July 29–August 1 to August 5–8.

The schedule adjustment comes in relation to “other major events happening in the Wisconsin area,” according to Mike Kertscher, Road America President and General Manager.

Ultimately, the weekend will remain unchanged, with the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship continuing to headline the event under the new six-hour format for a second consecutive season. The weekend will also feature additional on-track racing and fan activities throughout the event.

“Fan turnout at Road America has grown substantially the past few years with an all-time record for our first six-hour endurance race earlier this month,” said IMSA President John Doonan. “We’re already looking forward to returning one weekend later next year and we are confident that by giving the loyal Road America fans enough runway to make or alter their plans, we’ll see another amazing turnout for the Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix weekend in 2027.”

Tickets for next season’s IMSA weekend at Road America that have already been purchased will remain valid despite the date change. Fans are also encouraged to purchase specially priced four-day tickets, which are available for a limited time.
