Canadian sports car outfit TwoTh Autosport has unveiled a multi-phase racing plan spanning the next several seasons, with the ultimate goal of making the jump to the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship between 2028 and 2030.
TwoTh, a successful championship-winning operation across North America, has competed in multiple championships, including claiming titles in IMSA-owned vintage racing series Historic Sportscar Racing and FEL Radical Cup Canada. This year, the team has remained in contention for the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge Bronze Cup in the P3 class, with co-founder Travis Hill behind the wheel of the No. 2 Ligier JS P325.
The blueprint will see an expanded schedule for TwoTh entering 2027. The team will continue competing across various rungs of the sports car ladder, with programs in club racing, FEL Radical Cup Canada and HSR Classic Endurance events.
Furthermore, TwoTh will continue its established IMSA efforts heading into next season. The team plans to field a dual P3 and GSX effort in the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge in 2027, utilizing its Ligier JS P325 and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS, respectively. The team will also continue its IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge effort with a planned Grand Sport (GS) program utilizing its Porsche 911 GT4 R.
The big step for TwoTh will be competing in select IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship endurance races in 2027 while conducting testing on its 2028-specification LMP2 car throughout the season.
The ultimate goal is to field full-time LMP2 and GTD programs in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship between 2028 and 2030, with hopes of also making starts in the 24 Hours of Le Mans under the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) umbrella.
Through this journey, the team will continue its partnership with Shopify, founded by business owner-turned-sports car driver Tobi Lütke, who has been an integral part of the program’s efforts both on and off the track.
“We’re at basecamp, and this is the final climb. We’ve spent years building the team, processes, and track record to get this far. Now we’re taking our flag to the summit — the WeatherTech series and the 24-hour crown jewels; the Rolex 24 and LeMans,” Travis Hill, Team Principal of TwoTh Autosport, stated.
“For three years the prototype program has been the focus — the LMP3 work was the foundation for Tobi’s WeatherTech debut in LMP2, and TWOth’s target for the new 2028 homologation,” Hill continued. “Through all of it, our Porsche program has held its own – performing on track with partners hungry to see it grow. Now we give it the same runway. Building our GT effort into a WeatherTech contender to stand alongside the prototypes is the next climb — and it starts now.”

That opportunity for TwoTh to take home an IMSA season championship will come in a month’s time at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, when the P3 class and the rest of the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge field rejoin the GSX class for the final race weekend of the season, September 30-October 3.
