IMSA, alongside the Austin Hatcher Foundation and Camp Boggy Creek, have unveiled this year’s 2026 Resilient Racers, whose names will be featured on their respective paired IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship entries for the upcoming Battle on the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 18-20.
A total of 42 children, all coming from IMSA’s two charity partners, Austin Hatcher Foundation and Camp Boggy Creek, will be recognized for their courageous battles against cancer while also showcasing the support behind them from the motorsports community.
A 43rd name will also be represented, honoring racing legend and actor Paul Newman, who was a co-founder of Camp Boggy Creek. Newman’s name will be emblazoned across the No. 36 DXDT Racing Corvette Z06 GT3.R for the weekend.

Camp Boggy Creek was started in 1991 and was co-founded by Newman and General Norman Schwarzkopf, along with Jennifer Masi, who was the inspiration for starting the organization, her parents, Nick and Wendy Masi, and David Horvitz, among others.
Since opening in 1996, the camp has provided more than 90,000 campers and their families living with serious medical illnesses with a FREE, life-changing camp experience, thanks in part to Jennifer Masi’s granted wish.

The Austin Hatcher Foundation was founded in December 2006 by Dr. James and Mrs. Amy Jo Osborn, months after their son, Austin Hatcher Osborn, passed away from a very rare and aggressive form of brain and spinal tumors. After their son passed away, the Osborns turned their pain into purpose and worked to address the lack of support in survivorship for families of children diagnosed with cancer.
They opened the foundation to help eliminate the negative side effects of pediatric cancer from diagnosis through survivorship. The Foundation not only treats the child suffering from the diagnosis but also supports the entire family that has been negatively impacted.
Austin “Hatch” Osborn, the inspiration for the Austin Hatcher Foundation, will also be represented as one of the 43 names showcased on a specific race entry, with “Hatch” highlighted on the YRB Racing No. 068 “Car Blanche” Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo.
