McCumbee McAleer Racing (MMR) announced a second entry for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season finale at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, September 30-October 3, rolling out the No. 61 Ford Mustang GT4 with Erik Evans and Jenson Altzman sharing driving duties.
MMR, which currently fields the No. 13 Ford Mustang GT4 in the championship with Robert Noaker and recently added Ford driver Finn Wiebelhaus, has enjoyed a strong 2026 season, remaining in the championship picture entering Indianapolis and Road Atlanta.
Altzman returns to McCumbee McAleer Racing in IMSA’s Michelin Pilot Challenge after spending several seasons with the Ford outfit. The Arizona-born driver continues to compete with MMR in SRO’s GT4 America series in the Pro-Am category, while also returning to the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship earlier this year at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, driving the Myers Riley Motorsports No. 16 Ford Mustang GT3 alongside Sheena Monk, Felipe Fraga and Romain Grosjean.
Altzman’s co-driver, Erik Evans, makes his series and IMSA debut at his home venue this weekend, building his sportscar resume by winning the British GT Championship in 2023 and being named a Ford Racing development driver. This season, Evans continues to compete in the GT4 European Series’ Silver class for Academy Motorsports, earning a season-best fourth-place finish at Paul Ricard in April.

The Michelin Pilot Challenge’s next round takes the series to the “Yard of Bricks” at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 18-20, with the two-hour race scheduled for Saturday, September 19, at 2:30 p.m. ET. The race will broadcast live on Peacock in the United States and globally on IMSA.tv and IMSA’s official YouTube channel.
