There are two noticeable changes as Cadillac confirms their driver line-ups for the 2027 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship season Thursday.

Action Express Racing will maintain their drivers, but the roles will reverse. Frederik Vesti will mount a full-season charge in the #31 Whelen Cadillac after being the team’s endurance and fill-in driver the last two seasons. Vesti will partner Jack Aitken while Earl Bamber will move to the third endurance driver role.

Over at Wayne Taylor Racing, there is a small change amongst plenty of continuity. Norman Nato will replace Colton Herta as the endurance driver in the team’s #40 V-Series.R. Nato will partner the team’s returning full-season drivers, Louis Deletraz and Jordan Taylor, in that ride. Deletraz and Taylor are back for their fourth season together. Over at the #10 car, no changes from 2026 as Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque will unite for their seventh consecutive season together as a tandem. For the endurance races, they will be joined by Will Stevens for the third year running.

The press release confirms Action Express will have a fourth driver for January’s Rolex 24. That driver will be confirmed at a later date. No word was given on if Wayne Taylor Racing will add fourth drivers to their two cars for IMSA’s season opener.

Cadillac is the first GTP manufacturer to publicly confirm entries for the 2027 IMSA season. Aston Martin, BMW and Porsche are expected to return to the grid. This comes despite the loss of Acura, who are pausing their sportscar program.
