Lexus has never shown a great interst in Blancpain GT glory and with the switch of Emil Frey Racing to Lamborghini, the Japanese manufacturer is now out of an effort that can win the Spa 24 Hours outright. Instead, Tech 1 Racing carries the Lexus banner with a sole entry in the Am class.

Tech 1 Racing
Tech 1 Racing, a team best known for its success in single-seaters, is taking its first steps in the world of GT racing teaming up with Panis-Barthez Compétition to run the Lexus RC F GT3. In Silverstone the French team scored a second place in the Am class. The manufacturer’s best Blancpain GT Endurance Cup result to date was Emil Frey Racing’s victory in the Paul Ricard 1000KM last year.
